The highest peak in Dalhousie, the Dainkund Peak, guards the breathtaking vistas of the region, which include extensive areas of pine. It is tucked away at a height of 2755 metres above sea level, about 10 kilometres from Dalhousie. A panoramic view of the environs, including the hills and rivers below, is available from the peak’s summit. The Dainkund Peak is also known as the Singing Hill because the wind in the area provides a wonderful serenade as it blows across the trees.
