Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Manali

Reach Manali and check-in to the pre-booked Manali hotel of your choice. Rest of the day is at leisure. It is optional that you explore the hotel property of your stay. Post lunch you can visit the banks of river Beas and take a stroll beside the quick flowing gorgeous and mountainous Beas river. In the evening, take a walk to the Mall Road to do some trinket shopping and enjoy the local flavours of food, culture and people. Overnight stay at the Manali Hotel.

Day 2Manali local sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed for an interesting sojourn for Manali city tour. Enjoy the scenic beauty and peace of the diverse tourist attractions such as Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Manali Sanctuary, Vashisht Baths, The Great Himalayan National Park and the Mall Road. After an eventful and joyous visit to the various tourist attractions of Manali all through the day, return to hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 3Mighty Rohtang Pass with Solang Valley Adventure

Excursion to Rohtang Pass shall be a day-long tour with a 100 km long return journey. But the frozen peaks and the panoramic view that the pass commands is worth a visit. Rohtang Pass offers high-altitude view of enchanting Lahaul and Spiti valley. Visit the Solang Valley while in the return journey and attempt a the extremely adventurous experience of paragliding here. Solang also offers a wide variety of fun snow sports. Come back to hotel after a tiring day and enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day 4Manali to Sarchu via Rohtang, Keylong, Jispa and Baralacha (230 km/8-10 hours)

Early morning after having your breakfast check out of the hotel in Manali and leave for Sarchu. Sarchu a major stopover point with tented accommodation on the face of Himalayas along the Leh-Manali Highway. It is the boundary dividing Himachal Pradesh from Ladakh.
The highway leading to Sarchu takes you across some of the highest Himalayan mountain passes. They make for an extremely memorable and scenic experience. After crossing Rohtang pass, you also get to cross other high passes such as Keylong, Jispa, and Baralacha. After journeying the whole day long, the tiresome but enlivening day comes to an end with checking in at the accommodation at Sarchu. Overnight stay at Sarchu

Day 5Sarchu to Leh via Lachulungla (244 km/6-7 hours)

Start from Sarchu after checkout post breakfast and proceed for Leh. Arrival at Leh after a long journey via Tanglang La and Lachulung La. The route offers some of the picture postcard moments and incomparable scenic beauty. The altitude steepens and one can feel the atmospheric changes. Reach Leh in the evening. Rest of the day at leisure. People usually take time to relax and get used to the high altitudes. Because of the very high altitude, travellers need to get their body adjusted to sudden environment changes, mainly low atmospheric pressure. Under such conditions, you are advised to drink plenty of water and take enough rest so as to avoid mountain sickness.

Day 6Leh Sightseeing: Market, Palace, Stupa and Gompa

After breakfast reach out and explore the wonderful and exotically beautiful land of Leh. Begin with exploring the Leh Market to buy trinkets, beautiful Tibetan Jewellery, motifs, handcrafted carpets and woollen clothes. Visit the nine storeys high Potala Palace in Lhasa also known as Leh Palace, the brilliant edifice, white dome of a structure the Shanti Stupa built on stupendous heights. The next attraction would be the Spituk Monastery also known as Spituk Gompa or Pethup Gompa, which is located at 8 kilometres from Leh. The monastery contains 100 monks and a giant statue of Kali. Back to the Leh hotel for an overnight stay at Leh.

Day 7Alchi Monastery and Village along with Hall of Fame sightseeing

After Breakfast visit the 900 year old Alchi monastery located in ‘The model village of Alchi’. The surroundings offer landscapes that are absolutely unforgettable and makes you feel you are in paradise on earth. After that visit the Hall of Fame located just 4 km form the city centre. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight stay at the Leh Hotel.

Day 8Nubra Valley Adventure with Mesmerizing Khardungla Pass

Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road which is at a height of 5602 metres or 18,380 feet going across the Khardungla Pass. Reach Nubra valley by noon and check in at the hotel of camp accommodation. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley hotel or camp.

Day 9Nubra Valley sightseeing, Diskit Monastery

After Breakfast visit Diskit Monastery, which is the oldest monastery of the Nubra Valley and enjoy the magnificent valley view. Also visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder and enjoy a camel ride across the valley. Hundur Monastery is also a living example of Tibetan Buddhism. After that, proceed back to Leh via the same route via Khardungla Pass. Check-in and overnight stay at Leh Hotel.

Day 10Pangong Lake, the amazing and mystic, colour changing highest salt water Lake in the World

After an early breakfast visit the Pangong Lake situated at an altitude of 14,500 feet. Cross the famous Changla Pass 17,350 feet in height and experience journeying through the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive at Pangong, the legendary and famed highest salt water Lake in the World. Enjoy the beauty of the lake resplendent by means of the ever-changing colours that create a fascinating charm and leaves the tourists in awe. Drive back to Leh by the same route that takes approximately 5 hours. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 11Departure from Leh for Delhi

After a nice breakfast, transfer to the Leh airport to catch the flight back to Delhi for an onward journey for home.
