Itinerary

Day 1Chandigarh to Shimla (140 Kms/08 Hrs)

On arrival pick up from Chandigarh Airport or Chandigarh Railway station by our representative and transfer to Shimla, the largest and the most prominent city of Himachal Pradesh, the capital. Day 2Excursion to Kufri

After breakfast at the Shimla hotel, begin your day trip to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its various tourist interests. In the second half go for a Shimla sight-seeing of the various places in and around. Begin with the interesting and heritage building named Viceregal Lodge dated way back in 1885. Pay a brief visit to the Gaiety Theatre where the first beauty contest of world was supposed to be held in the year 1887. Day 3Shimla to Manali (265 Kms/08 Hrs)

After breakfast check out hotel depart for Manali. On the way visit Pandoh Dam to spent some family time amidst serene nature, a man-made reservoir and lots of green cover. Also visit the Hanogi Mata Temple situated at the top of a peak with a sparkling gurgling stream flowing past. On arrival at Manali check into the hotel, have dinner and have a relaxing overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Manali (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast proceed for a fun-filled sightseeing in and around Manali.

  • Hadimba temple, popularly known as the Hidimbi Temple dedicated to the wife of Bhima, the Mahabharat famed hero of Hindu mythology.
  • Manu temple is a sacred destination of Hindu devotees famous for being the dwelling and meditation place of the greatest Sage of all times, Manu, the mythical creator of human race.

Day 5Rohtang Pass (100 Kms Round Trip)

The day of Rohtang Pass excursion is bound to be memorable on account of its unparalleled charm and virgin beauty. The high-altitude pass located at a height of 3979 metres is at a distance of 51 kms from Manali. This pass remains closed in winter months on account of inaccessibility due to heavy snowfall. But it opens up from June to October for motor vehicles to drive across. This pass connects Manali to the Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. Tourists have a real taste for adventure while trying for various thrilling activities like snow scooter, skiing and mountain biking. Day 6Manali to Dharmshala (280 Kms/10 Hrs)

After Breakfast, check out of the Manali hotel and proceed for an onward journey towards Dharamshala. Feast your eyes and senses on the exquisite beauty of the mountains, the green valleys and gorgeous mountain ranges standing rock solid stretching till as far as eyes could see. On the way visit Kullu Vaishno Devi Temple to offer prayers and also the famous Kullu Shawl Weaving Centre to catch up with some authentic Kullu products in woollens such as shawls, cardigans, sweaters, scarves and caps .On arrival check in at the Dharamshala hotel. After getting fresh and catching up with some refreshments visit Dal Lake. Back to the hotel to catch up with dinner followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7Dharmshala (Sightseeing) / Dharmshala to Dalhousie (145 Kms/05 Hrs)

After a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel, set out for a pleasant tour of the beautiful sleepy hill town of Dharamshala tinted with Tibetan culture and Himalayan beauty. Dharamshala is extremely alluring, fresh and cool surrounded by the majestic Dhauladhar Ranges. Among the most popular tourist places are the Dalai Lama Temple, Bagsu Nath Temple, Gyuto Monastery and Namgyal Monastery. Also the Norbulinga Institute is also an interesting tourist visit. In the afternoon post lunch, depart from Dharamshala to reach another captivating hill town named Dalhousie. On arrival at Dalhousie, check in at a hotel of your choice. Day 8 Dalhousie – Chamba – Khajjiar

After breakfast, proceed to visit the mesmerizing Kalatop with its thick cover of whistling pines, interesting Himalayan animals and ample bird population. Also visit Khajjiar popularly known as India’s Mini Switzerland, a beautiful green valley with magnificent surrounding hills and the forest of cedar, birch, pine and various conifers flanking the fringes. After that proceed towards Chamba that is famous for Hindu shrines such as Chamunda Devi Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Temple and Bajreshwari Temple. Also visit the Bhuri Singh Museum that exhibits brilliantly the local handicraft. After Spending some calm moments in the Chamba Town spread peacefully on the banks of River Ravi, drive back to hotel for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9Dalhousie to Chandigarh (340 Kms/07 Hrs)

Morning check out of the Dalhousie hotel and after breakfast our representative shall drop you at the Chandigarh Airport or Chandigarh Railway station for your journey back home with bagful of sweet memories to relive.
