Jakhoo Hill, Shimla’s tallest peak, is concealed by pine forests and climbs 8000 feet above sea level. The tallest statue of Lord Hanuman is located in the ancient Hanuman temple on Jakhoo Hill (108 ft.).

Lord Hanuman is supposed to have made a brief stop here on his way to get Sanjeevani Booti for Lakshman’s life. The hill offers stunning views of the Himalayas in all their splendour and is one of Shimla’s main tourist destinations. Since it is impossible to drive all the way up the hill, an exhilarating short stroll takes guests through a deodar forest.
