A charming village called Sethan can be found in Himachal Pradesh about 12 kilometres from Manali. This little hamlet that overlooks the Dhauladhar mountain is home to a Buddhist community. How to reach Sethan Valley

Via Car

3 kilometres away from Manali by road.

Right uphill and towards the direction of Hamta Valley. To reach Sethan Valley, travel another 12 kilometres on this route.

Permission:

A permit, which costs INR 100, is required to enter the valley and is accessible at the Hydro Project checkpoint in Prini.

Via Bus

Bus Options: HRTC bus Travel Time: 45 minutes by car to Manali

Depending on the season, a hired car or taxi will cost you between NR 1200 and NR 1500 to get from Manali to Sethan.
