Itinerary

Day 1Delhi to Shimla (320 Kms/ 07 Hrs)

On arrival we shall pick you up from Delhi Airport or Delhi Railway station. Immediate transfer to Shimla is arranged by road. On arrival at Shimla, check in at the hotel, have dinner and overnight stay at hotel. Take a peep out from the hotel to have a glimpse of the gorgeously resplendent night time Shimla. The peace of the hill town and the cool pleasant weather shall transport you to a fairy land.

Day 2Excursion to Kufri

After breakfast go for an interesting excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Pony, horse and yak rides and one can enjoy the charming beauty of the endless Himalayan Panorama.

After Kufri visit, also explore the important and interesting landmarks of Shimla such as Scandal Point view point, Viceregal Lodge built in 1885 that carries a rich legacy of the British rule and style of architecture, the old and famous Christ Church built in 1844 that rules the Shimla skyline, the Ridge for a lovely leisurely stroll, The Jhakoo Temple and the Lakkar Bazaar with a wide assortment of wood carvings. End the sightseeing with some grand shopping for woollens and handicrafts. In the evening, drive back to the hotel for a gala dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3Shimla to Manali (265 Kms/07 Hrs)

After breakfast check out of the Shimla hotel and depart for Manali. On the way visit Pandoh Dam and Hanogi Mata Temple.

  • Pandoh Dam is just 10 kms away from Manali and the artificial man-made lake or reservoir offers a charming sightseeing point to enjoy boating and picnic by the dam.
  • Hanogi Mata Temple dedicated to Hindu deity Hango Mata has a sparkling stream flowing past and is a temple with ample natural beauty.

On arrival at Manali check-in to the hotel of your choice in Manali. Explore the property and have a proper dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4Manali (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast go for a scouting of the interesting spots in and around Manali.

  • Hadimba Temple is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Goddess Hidimbi Devi who was the wife of the most powerful Bhima of the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata
  • Manu Temple built at the sacred site where Sage Manu, the holy creator of Human race lived and meditated according to Hindu mythology
  • Vashisht Bath and Vashisht Temple with the sulphurous pools that are situated 2 kms north of Manali on the hillside across the River Beas is famous for its hot water springs and healing powers of the waters
  • Van Vihar is a Municipal Garden on the Mall Road with lots of shady deodar trees and a pond for boating
  • Tibetan Monastery with its prayers and chanting and colourful prayer wheels and ornamental statues of Lord Buddha and His many forms
  • Shopping at the local market of the Mall Road for shawls, woollens, scarves, caps, mufflers, purses, jewellery, clothes, carpets, wood work, decorative items and much more

After a tiring and fulfilling day of beautiful sightseeing of the Himalayan beauty get back to the Manali hotel by evening. Later have a sumptuous dinner and prepare for a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5Rohtang Pass (100 Kms Round Trip)

Day 05 is planned for a fun-filled day of excursion to the thrilling high-altitude Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is famous all over the world for its picturesque beauty of the amazing Himalayan snow-covered peaks. At a great height of 3979 metres above sea level it has cold climate and frozen snows and this pass remains open only during the summer months and gets closed during the winter months due to excessive snowfall. It is a gorgeous Mountain Pass that connects Manali to Lahaul and Spiti. The frozen snow at the mountain tops shine bright. After a snowy drive into the heart of Himalayas, drive back to the Manali hotel at day end. Have dinner and settle for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 6Manali to Chandigarh (290 Kms 08Hrs)

In the morning of Day 6, you check out from the Manali hotel. After breakfast, our representative shall be there to transfer you from Manali to Chandigarh via road. On arrival at Chandigarh, go for a sightseeing of the famous places of Chandigarh.

  • Pinjore Garden – a beautifully landscaped garden of green plants, flowers, shrubs and trees that attracts a lot of tourists all through the year
  • Rock Garden – a unique garden contain numerous decorative statues and items made from recycled material by a creator and an innovator Nek Chand
  • Timber Trail – a gorgeous and posh resort perched on the hill top at the foothills of Shiwalik ranges of Himalayas in a serene and beautiful spot

Evening transfer to the Chandigarh hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7Departure from Chandigarh and Delhi

Morning check out from the Chandigarh Hotel after a lavish breakfast and a smooth transfer to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, we shall arrange for a drop at the Delhi Airport or the Delhi Railway station for your onward journey back home after a joyous mountain vacation.
